Heal And Transform Your Life Using The Power Of The Mind
“The power of the mind” is a phrase that you may hear frequently, especially in the last decade. This knowledge is by no means new to humanity, but it was surely forgotten for many years by the mainstream public. Some may even argue that it was hidden and coveted by those deemed worthy of this powerful wisdom.
Although the wisdom is ancient, however, its impact and potential has remained unchanged since the dawn of time—and we are seeing a resurgence of this knowledge in our modern lives. We can still apply the power of the mind to heal our bodies, transform our lives, and deeply connect to the universe within and around us.
What is the power of the mind
The power of the mind is using your thoughts (which are infinite energy) to directly affect the matter (all that is finite) in your life. In Ilchi Lee’s book, The Power Brain, he details clear and concise steps to tap into the power of the mind and direct it to “upgrade your brain operating system” and quite literally design your life and heal your body.
The power of the mind is also understanding that, within you, you already contain everything you need to be your most radiant self. Accessing that power requires deprogramming the limiting beliefs that keep you on the side of fear rather than on the side of unconditional love and acceptance of your power.
Visionary and spiritual leader Marianne Williamson said, “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.” When we really take a moment to let this thought settle, we may realize that, yes, indeed it is our power that may feel intangible, and out of reach. But when you apply the ancient wisdom that lives within, you grasp that we are all capable of literally limitless potential.
How to tap into the power of the mind
If you aren’t familiar with accessing this power, or if you need to refresh your practices, try this simple tip:
One of the most potent ways to access your power is through visualization meditation. When you envision the outcome or goal or path you want, and repeat that in meditation each day, or even when you’re daydreaming, this activates the power of the mind and begins to arrange the people and circumstances in your path to help you get there.
How to do it:
When you’re in meditation, lying in bed before falling asleep, or first thing in the morning when you wake up, envision one specific outcome and walk yourself all the way through it as if you were actually experiencing it. Allow yourself to skip the details of how to get there and just think about the emotions you would experience as if you were experiencing the fulfillment of your dream in real time. Get as sensory as possible. Open your heart to feeling the accomplishment that you would upon completion. Release the fear and doubt of how you’ll get there and accept your outcome/goal/dream as a guaranteed reality.
Living “as if” has the potential to help you energetically create the reality you wish to live in. How? Emotions are energy, as we mentioned previously, and when you experience the emotions that you would if you achieved what you are in pursuit of, then this aligns the desire of your heart and soul with the energetic mechanics of your brain. This collision of energy towards a common goal is modern day magic, or ancient wisdom, however you wish to look at it.
We are all capable of this. You don’t need to be a zen master or a practiced monk to manipulate matter and design your reality. All you have to do is believe in your power, release your limiting beliefs, and go for what you want with the conviction of someone who believes, without a doubt, that you can achieve what you dream about.
