Using the gel of the aloe plant on skin
The aloe has been long known to have healing properties
You do not need to go out and buy creams with aloe in it. Aloe has been used for thousands of years. You can plant an aloe in your garden and when you need it, just snip off a mature piece and slice it open lengthwise and scoop out the gel. The gel is the healing part of the plant.
The plant has been shown in studies to help heal minor wounds eight days faster than standard dressing, not to mention it’s an antibacterial and contains vitamins and minerals that can ease eczema and psoriasis flare-ups.
Aloe vera is wonderful for not only healing acne scars but also for moisturizing the skin and keeping it youthful.
The aloe gel will help reduce redness and pain caused by sunburn.
For cuts and wounds, the fibres help to seal wounds and also soothe pain. After skin has been cleansed apply the aloe gel to minor cuts and wounds and seal it with a bandage.
You can also just slice aloe open lengthwise and rub the inner gel side onto face and neck. It may feel slimy but do not wipe it away. Let this soak into your skin.
