This is how you have become unattractive and you are not even aware of it
1. YOU ARE SELF ABSORBED
It’s easy to fall into this way of being because we literally are the center of our universe. Everything we experience is being experienced within us. But when you fall into the trap of focusing solely on yourself, and talk only about yourself, and your problems and your dreams and basically don’t care much for others around you, you are being self absorbed and narcissistic. Like I said, it can be quite easy for some people to fall into this, so you gotta pay attention and if this is you, time to start making some changes.
2. YOU FOCUS ONLY ON LOOKS AND APPEARANCE WHILE IGNORING WHAT’S INSIDE
Might sound ridiculous but true beauty really does come from within your heart and soul. Physical appearance fades and is also mostly a product of what TV pushes onto the public… Dress this way, style your hair like this, wear these shoes, act this way, etc. and then you will be “good looking”. But it doesn’t matter what you look like if you are a horrible person. No one will want to be around you. On the other hand, if you are a nice person that brings warmth and happiness into the world, people will want to be around you.
3. YOU ARE CONSTANTLY IN COMPETITION
Are you that person that always feels like you have to be better than everyone else? If so, then you are insecure because you feel the need to prove yourself and this means you are unattractive in your own eyes. You need to do some serious self reflection and learn that you have self worth already, and don’t need to impress anyone or be better than anyone else but the person you were yesterday.
4. YOU VIEW YOUR FRIENDS AS POTENTIAL ENEMIES
If you view your friends as enemies, you will become defensive and be more likely to not be genuine with them and this will become toxic for your inner character and beauty. Stay true to yourself, don’t hang around people you think of as potential enemies. Being fake is the quickest way to become unhappy and unattractive.
5. YOU QUESTION YOUR IMPORTANCE TO OTHERS
The only person who needs to know your own self worth, is you. If you feel like you are hanging around people that do not value you as a person, and it is more than just a bit of paranoia, walk away from them. Life is too short to hang around people that make you doubt your self worth and make you feel unattractive and not good enough.
6. YOU ARE THE BOSS OR BETTER THAN EVERYONE ELSE
Within a group of friends, everyone should be treated with equal respect and reverence otherwise what’s the point of being friends? If you’re the one always making the decisions and imposing “plans” on everyone else, or trying to control what they are doing, you’re acting in a very unattractive way that no one will want to be around, whether they say it to your face or not.
7. YOU ARE DISHONEST
The mark of a truly great friend, or someone that others enjoy being around or respect, is honesty. As soon as someone finds out you have told a lie, regardless of how small, they will look at you with suspicion and you will become unattractive to them.
8. YOU ARE RUDE AND CRITICAL OF EVERYONE
If you’re the person the person who is always gossiping and bad mouthing others, you are the last person anyone wants to be around, except people who indulge in the same behaviors. And people who do this with you, will more than likely do it about you behind your back too. Additionally, treat other people, even if you have differing views than them, with respect.
A little bit of respect goes a long way, and bad mouthing other people is a sign of weakness and extremely unattractive.
9. YOU ARE UNRELIABLE, YET EXPECT OTHERS TO BE RELIABLE
Are you there for your friends when they need you? Maybe they call you or text you and you ignore them? But when you are feeling down expect them to be there for you? This is selfish and disgustingly unattractive. If it’s you, STOP.
10. YOU ARE ALWAYS NEGATIVE
No one likes to be around the person who is always complaining about everything, even when there is nothing to complain about. This is also bad for yourself because no one can be so obsessed with negative emotions without themselves feeling like crap inside. So focus on being positive. Doesn’t mean we have to avoid engaging in important meaningful discussions about bad things that need to be changed in the world, but it does mean we have to stop feeling sorry for ourselves and always being a source of horrible depressing energy.
The most important thing of all, regardless of everything that has been mentioned here, is to simply be yourself but still be honest enough to work on the flaws and behaviors you know you need to improve on. If you do that, then you are doing your part. Once you get to this point, where you are comfortable being yourself, the trick is to find someone who has gotten to that point too.
Good luck and remember to always be yourself, but never lose sight of the importance of challenging yourself to become a better person.
